Core Day 
Thursday in Adkins

This day we will focus on Language Arts, History, Apologetics, Art, Theater and Music!
Using the curriculum  Worldviews of the Western World, we will sharpen our academics while deepening our understanding of our faith. 

While our high school students will still be studying the same time period as the rest of Kaleo Academy, they will be delving into the why more than the how. They will be looking at the Woldviews of the time and how they have shaped the world. Each student will develop their own Worldview based on apologetics and bible study and learn how to defend what they believe. 

This class is written as a high school AP class. We are revising it to make it accessible to all. We will still have deep thinking, but not an AP workload. We want our students to have time for service and other learning opportunities.

There are other great groups in town that offer this as an AP level class and we would be happy to refer you, if that is what you are looking for!

College Credit options

CLEP Test Prep

At the end of the year, you will have the option to sign up for a CLEP test prep class.
We will provide you with the tools to study for and take any appropriate CLEP tests. This will allow you access to the teacher and have friends to study with. Then, we will schedule a test day and all go together to take the test.

Dual Enrollment

We are currently working out a plan with a major Christian university to offer dual enrollment classes for our students. 

If you are unfamiliar with dual enrollment, click the button below for more inform. 
 

These classes will offer you support and a group to work with. It will also allow you to take college level classes with like minded peers.

High School is a time when teens are deciding who they will be. Many college campuses are not appropriate environments for young minds.  We see this need and want to minister to our homeschool community by offering appropriate options!

STEM  and Extras Day

This year we will be offering the following classes on Wednesday for grades 8+

Algebra 1 - 9:30-11:00

Drama Club - 11:00 - 12:30

Biology - 1:00 - 2:30

Health - 2:45 - 3:45

Each class is $400 for the year, except Drama Club, which is $450

​
